Lake Chaparral Kayak Kids

Kayak Kids by Alberta Sprint Racing Canoe Association (ASRCA) is the best way to introduce your child to kayaking. Your child will learn kayaking skills, connect with nature while building their confidence on the water in a fun and inclusive way. On completion of the week, paddlers will have the option to show off the new skills in a fun regatta.
Safety is our main priority, we provide ASRCA endorsed coaches Certified in First Aid and CPR and with the Canadian National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) and Canoe Kayak Canada (CKC).
Come join us for a unique experience!
Safety: Participants must have a Red Cross Swim Kid Level 6 and or demonstrate equivalent (Canoe Kayak Canada Standard), link here to see lifesaving society equivalent. PFDs are required at all times.
All campers will be required to complete a basic swim assessment on the first day of camp, the instructor will show participants how to right and re-enter a flipped boat.
