Kayak Kids New Communities

ASRCA is looking to partner with communities, organizations, or groups interested in adding the sport of canoeing and kayaking to their community. We are already starting to plan the 2026 Kayak Kids program.

Many Alberta communities have excellent water, help us bring to it a truly Canadian Sport. Canoe/Kayak is one of Canada's top-performing Olympic sports, and most of all, kids love paddling on the lake. Who knows, maybe we will find some future Team Canada Paddlers. Perhaps you know the perfect pond, lake or river!

ASRCA can provide support and guidance at every step of the way: Training/Certifying instructors, equipment or organizational support. ASRCA endorsed coaches are Certified in First Aid and CPR and with the Canadian National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) and CanoeKayak Canada (CKC). For safety, PFDs must be worn at all times.

The athlete's target age is 7-12; however, each community can customize to best suit.
